Obverse description Centered in the field is the emblem of the Bank of Russia, depicting the double-headed eagle with wings lowered, accompanied by a semicircular legend below reading БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA). The central device is encircled by a beaded border. Along the upper rim runs the denomination legend СТО РУБЛЕЙ (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES), while the year of issue 2003 appears along the lower rim. To the left of the central motif are the metal designation and fineness (Au 900), and to the right the fine metal content and the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД).
