| Additional information |
Object 430 was a Soviet medium tank development program run at the Kharkov Morozov Design Bureau through the late 1950s, intended as a successor to the T-54. Version II introduced a new hull and suspension configuration, but the project was ultimately cancelled when the T-64 program absorbed its engineering lineage. The tank never entered production.
This coin belongs to a Russian Federation commemorative series honoring Soviet armored vehicle prototypes and historical designs — an unusual choice of subject, given that Object 430 II existed only as hardware under evaluation.
