| 正面描述 | Central field features the state coat of arms of Transnistria, depicting a Soviet-style emblem with a hammer and sickle surmounted by a five-pointed star, flanked by wheat sheaves, and a landscape with a rising sun at the base. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК runs along the upper periphery in Cyrillic script. The date 2001 appears below the arms in the lower central field, with the denomination 100 РУБЛЕЙ inscribed along the lower border, separated by two bullet points. The overall design is executed in a prooflike finish with polished fields and frosted devices. |

Transnistria declared independence from Moldova in 1990, but no United Nations member state recognizes it. The Transnistrian Republican Bank nonetheless operates as a fully functioning central bank, issuing currency — including commemorative silver — purely for internal legitimacy. Vadul-lui-Vodă (rendered here in its Russian transliteration) sits on the Dniester River northeast of Chișinău, in territory Transnistria claims but does not control. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin there predates the separatist conflict entirely.
