Obverse description The obverse features the Russian state emblem, a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, centrally positioned within an inner beaded border. The denomination СТО РУБЛЕЙ (One Hundred Roubles) is inscribed along the upper arc of the legend, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) curves along the lower portion of the field. The date 1999 Г. appears in large numerals at the base, flanked by the fineness mark АU 900 to the lower left and the weight and mint mark 15,55 ММД to the lower right. The design is executed in proof finish with deeply mirrored fields contrasting against frosted relief elements.
