正面描述 The obverse presents a composite vignette of Moscow landmarks arranged across the note, including the Kremlin towers, the Ostankino Television Tower, the main building of Moscow State University, and elements of Zaryadye Park. Multicoloured guilloche underprint fills the background, with denomination numerals and the Bank of Russia title inscription in Cyrillic set in intaglio. A latent image and colour-shifting ink element appear in the lower right corner.

备注

Russia's 100-rouble note was substantially redesigned in 2022, part of an ongoing program to refresh the series with updated security features and revised imagery reflecting post-Crimea political geography. The timing placed this particular printing squarely within the period of Western sanctions imposed after February 2022, which created real complications for Goznak — several foreign suppliers of security paper components and specialty inks had become unavailable, pushing the enterprise toward domestic substitution in parts of the production chain.

Goznak's Moscow facility has printed Russian banknotes continuously since the Tsarist period. The absence of the holographic stripe found on earlier high-denomination issues is notable here — colour-shifting ink carries the primary optical security load instead.
