正面描述 The obverse retains the design of the Soviet 1961-issue 100 Rouble note, with a portrait vignette of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin at left and the National Emblem of the Soviet Union at centre, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint. An adhesive stamp bearing the likeness of General Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov is affixed at the far right, serving as the Transnistrian overprint validating the note for local circulation.

备注

Transnistria's 1994 note series was issued by the Banca Nistriana, the self-declared republic's central bank, at a moment when the breakaway territory — unrecognized by any UN member state — was still constructing the basic apparatus of a functioning economy following the 1992 armed conflict with Moldova. The rouble was pegged informally to the Russian rouble but operated as a fully separate instrument, used exclusively within a territory roughly 200 kilometres long and never more than 40 wide.

P#7 falls within the first domestically denominated issue after earlier coupon-based transitional money. Hyperinflationary pressure meant higher denominations were needed almost immediately after printing.
