| 背面描述 | The large numeral '100' dominates the central field, with the Cyrillic denomination РУБЛЕЙ inscribed beneath it in smaller lettering. A wheat ear sprig rises along the left side of the field and an oak branch along the right, framing the denomination. A small five-pointed star appears at the top of the field above the numeral, and the mint mark is positioned below the denomination. The date 1993 is inscribed along the lower periphery. |

Issued during Russia's most economically chaotic post-Soviet years, this coin entered circulation as the ruble was in freefall — inflation exceeded 800% in 1993 alone. The 100-rouble denomination, unthinkable just a few years earlier, became routine pocket change almost immediately after issue, and was itself obsolete within two years as the currency collapsed further toward the 1998 redenomination, which wiped three zeros from the unit.
