| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is entirely occupied by a dense Arabic-script legend arranged in multiple lines across the field, with a prominent crescent and six-pointed star device positioned centrally. The upper portion of the field is separated from the lower by a horizontal cartouche band bearing part of the inscription. The legend reads the Hijri date 1339, the denomination of 100 Manats, and the authority of issue — the Khwarezm Soviet — rendered in a bold, deeply incused calligraphic style characteristic of early Central Asian Soviet coinage. The irregular flan imparts a hand-struck appearance to the overall design. |

The Khorezm People's Soviet Republic was a short-lived Soviet client state established in 1920 after the Red Army dismantled the Khanate of Khiva. It issued its own coinage only briefly before being absorbed into the Soviet system and formally dissolved in 1924. The 100 Rouble denomination in bronze reflects the severe inflation already gripping the region — a face value that would have seemed absurd in hard metal just years earlier.
Mintages were small and local distribution uneven. Survivors in any condition are scarce.
