备注	This note belongs to Brunei's first independent currency series, issued following the 1967 Currency Agreement between Brunei, Malaysia, and Singapore — a tripartite arrangement that established interchangeable currencies across all three territories at par. The system held until Singapore withdrew in 1973, and Brunei and Malaysia maintained their own bilateral interchangeability until 1997, an unusually long monetary partnership by any standard. Bradbury Wilkinson printed extensively for newly independent and semi-independent governments throughout the 1960s; their New Malden facility was the workhorse behind dozens of post-colonial currency launches. The 100 Ringgit sits at the top denomination of this inaugural series, making surviving examples in any circulated grade genuinely harder to find than the lower values.
