正面描述 The obverse is printed in green and black on white cotton paper, with the Swedish royal coat of arms — supported by two rampant lions beneath a crown — as the central vignette at the top. The issuer's name 'Sweriges Riksbank' flanks the arms in elegant serif lettering, with the serial number 'N°000000, W' appearing twice in the upper field. The denomination 'ETT HUNDRA' is set in bold letterpress within an oval guilloche cartouche at centre, flanked by the words 'Riksdaler' and 'Riksmynt', with the date 'Stockholm den 3 Januarii 1870' and the convertibility clause inscribed below, and the numeral '100' in an oval underprint at the foot.

备注

Sveriges Riksbank introduced the Riksdaler Riksmynt as a decimal unit in 1855, replacing the older Riksdaler Specie system. This 100 Riksdaler Riksmynt note belongs to the twilight of that denomination — the entire Riksmynt series was rendered obsolete when Sweden adopted the krona in 1873 as part of the Scandinavian Monetary Union, meaning notes of this 1870 date circulated for only a few years before being called in.

The mirror-image reverse print was a domestic security measure characteristic of Riksbank notes of this period, achieved by offsetting wet ink from the face sheet onto the reverse — a crude but functional deterrent against contemporary counterfeiting methods.
