Beschrijving keerzijde Central device features the Imperial Iranian lion-and-sun emblem, depicting a striding lion in profile to the right, holding an upright sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant rising sun emerging from its back, all surmounted by the Pahlavi imperial crown. A Persian legend curves around the upper field in Nastaliq script. Below the central device, the denomination is inscribed in both Persian numerals and Arabic script (۱۰۰ ریال) and in Latin numerals and script (100 RIALS), with dual dates in Western (1971) and Solar Hijri (۱۳۵۰) calendars below. The entire design is encircled by a decorative border of stylised lotus buds and stems linked by a continuous chain, referencing Achaemenid ornamental motifs.
