Obverse description Portrait vignette of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in military uniform at right, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint incorporating floral and geometric arabesque motifs across the centre field. The issuer's title in Persian script is enclosed within a cartouche at top centre, with the denomination in Persian numerals at each corner and the Persian calendar date at bottom centre. A plain unprinted panel at left serves as the watermark zone.

(Translation: Central Bank of Iran One hundred rials)
Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of the Abadan oil refinery complex, rendered in detail with distillation towers, pipelines, and associated industrial infrastructure extending across the width of the note. The issuer's name in Latin script appears within a scalloped cartouche at top, with the denomination in both Latin and Persian numerals along the borders. The note is printed in deep rose-pink tones over a fine guilloche border frame.
