Obverse description Four lines of Arabic calligraphic legend inscribed within a open wreath of two symmetrical palm fronds tied at the base with a ribbon bow, reading the full regnal title of Ottoman Sultan Abdulmecid I. The legend occupies the entire field, framed by a fine milled border. The overall design is purely epigraphic with no portrait or figurative elements, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention.
