Reverse description Central field features an elaborate royal tughra or calligraphic cartouche of King Fuad I enclosed within a circular border, rendered in ornate intertwined Arabic script. A ring of six-pointed stars encircles the central cartouche, evenly distributed around the field. The denomination '١٠٠ غرش' (100 Piastres) appears at the top of the coin above the cartouche, while the Gregorian and Hijri dates are inscribed at the lower left and lower right respectively. The whole design is enclosed within a fine beaded rim.
