The country name appears in Hebrew (ישראל) in bold characters above the palm and in Arabic (اسرائيل) in a curved legend below. The entire design is encircled by a beaded border.

Reverse description The numeral '100' is prominently displayed in the upper centre of the field, with the Hebrew word פרוטה (Pruta) inscribed immediately below it. The Hebrew year תשי"ד (5714) appears in the lower field. The central inscriptions are framed by a wreath of olive branches, tied at the base, with the whole design enclosed by a beaded border.
