正面描述 The upper centre of the note carries a central vignette of a sailing ship at sea, flanked on either side by oval guilloche panels bearing the numeral "100" in intaglio. The heading "Ulster Bank Limited" arches across the top in bold letterpress, with "Northern Ireland Issue" below, and the place and date "Belfast, 1st June, 1929" in manuscript style. A large blue underprint of the denomination "One Hundred" runs across the middle of the note, overlaid by the printed promise-to-pay text and a lower oval cartouche inscribed "One Hundred", with "Belfast" in bold across the foot.

备注

Ulster Bank's 100 Pound notes from this period were among the highest denomination commercial banknotes circulating in Northern Ireland, and the 1929 date places this firmly in the years following partition — Ulster Bank had continued issuing its own notes under the Currency Act (Northern Ireland) 1927, which preserved the right of Belfast-headquartered banks to issue sterling-denominated notes independently of the Bank of England. High-denomination private issues like this one rarely left the banking system at all; they functioned largely as interbank instruments and settlement notes rather than retail currency.

Charles Skipper & East are more commonly associated with South African colonial note production, making their work for Ulster Bank a less-discussed part of their output.
