Reverse description The reverse, designed by Timothy Noad, presents a dynamic composition contrasting two heraldic dragon traditions: a sinuous Chinese-style dragon, rendered in fine relief with scaled body and flame-pearl details, coils through the upper field, while a Western-style dragon — winged, taloned, and depicted in full lateral profile — occupies the lower left foreground. The two creatures face one another across the coin's field, which features radiating lines evoking energy and motion. The legend TWO DRAGONS arcs across the upper rim, while the inscriptions ONE OUNCE FINE GOLD 999.9 · 2018 appear along the lower exergual area, with the engraver's initials T.N. subtly incorporated into the design.
