| Obverse description | The fifth and final definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as sculpted by Jody Clark, occupies the centre of the obverse, depicting the crowned and draped right-facing bust of the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem and a drop earring. The portrait is rendered in high relief befitting the proof finish, with the engraver's initials 'J.C.' incuse below the truncation.
