Reverse description A bold and finely detailed rendition of the Seymour Unicorn, one of the heraldic Queen's Beasts associated with the Tudor royal household, depicted rampant to the right and supporting with its forelegs a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of England and Wales. The mythical beast is adorned with a jewelled coronet and gorged with a chain, its flowing mane and spiralled alicorn rendered in high sculptural relief. The engraver's initials DL appear at the base of the design near the lower rim. The legend SEYMOUR UNICORN arcs around the upper field, flanked by lozenge stops, with the date 2024 displayed prominently in the lower exergue.
