Obverse description Printed in blue on white paper, the note carries the Royal Arms of Scotland as a central vignette at the top, flanked by two ornate guilloche medallions each bearing the denomination numeral '100'. A circular seal vignette is positioned to the left of the promise-to-pay text panel, which is rendered in a combination of copperplate script and bold letterpress, with two signature lines at the foot for the Accountant and General Manager.
