The BSP's Security Plant Complex in Quezon City has handled domestic production since 1978, and this note is entirely a local product — design, printing, and issue all within the Philippines, with no outsourced plate work involved.
Security is modest for a commemorative: watermark and thread only, with no color-shifting ink or microprinting reported for this issue. Commemoratives in this series tend to circulate less than regular issues, though the 100 Piso denomination was common enough that many did pass through normal channels.
