| Obverse description | A great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) depicted in full body profile at centre, wings spread wide in a drying posture, rendered in fine engraved detail. The denomination numeral 100 and the scientific name PHALACROCORAX - CARBO appear in the upper field, flanking the bird.
