Obverse description Printed in red and black, the note is framed by a bold geometric border of interlocking diamond and lozenge motifs. A central white text panel bears the cheque-style payment order text in Gothic script, flanked on each side by the large numeral '100'; the city name 'GÜSTROW' is lettered in large Gothic capitals along both the upper and lower margins. Two handwritten signatures appear beneath the text, attributed to the Bürgermeister and the Stadtverordnetenvorsteher, with the date 'Güstrow, den 1. Februar 1922' and validity clause noted below.

Reverse description Printed in red and black in a bold woodcut style, the reverse carries a vignette of the Güstrow Palace (Schloss Güstrow) rising above a stylised landscape with wave-like foliage at the base. The denomination '100' with a Pfennig symbol appears in the upper left and right corners, and the city name 'GÜSTROW' is set in large Gothic capitals both above the vignette and again along the lower margin. The printer's imprint 'HOF- UND RATSBUCHDRUCKEREI' appears in small type at the bottom centre.
