| Obverse description | Printed in red and black, the note is framed by a bold geometric border of interlocking diamond and lozenge motifs. A central white text panel bears the cheque-style payment order text in Gothic script, flanked on each side by the large numeral '100'; the city name 'GÜSTROW' is lettered in large Gothic capitals along both the upper and lower margins. Two handwritten signatures appear beneath the text, attributed to the Bürgermeister and the Stadtverordnetenvorsteher, with the date 'Güstrow, den 1. Februar 1922' and validity clause noted below. |
