正面描述 Central vignette presents a detailed letterpress panoramic view of Sternberg in Mecklenburg, with the town church tower rising above a dense roofscape of half-timbered buildings. Diagonal geometric lattice underprint fills the four corners in black and red, with the denomination numeral '100' in large red figures at left and right, each digit encircling a bullseye motif. A red circular municipal seal is impressed at lower centre, accompanied by a manuscript signature and the date 'den 23. Januar 1922'. Redemption conditions are inscribed in the lower margin, and the issuing authority 'Der Rat der Stadt' appears at lower right.

备注

Sternberg's 1922 Notgeld issue belongs to the tail end of Germany's municipal emergency money phenomenon — by this point less about genuine currency shortage and more about the thriving collector trade that had developed around decorative local issues. Towns competed for philatelic attention, and the Hannover firm Gebrüder Jänecke, with its established commercial printing operation, handled a significant volume of these commissions across northern Germany.

The DeNG reference suffix 3/3 indicates the third note in a three-piece series — collectors were expected to acquire the set.
