| Obverse description | Green and cream Notgeld note with a central circular vignette of the Rudolstadt civic lion rampant, crowned, set within a guilloche medallion. The title inscription 'Notgeld Rudolstadt' curves in bold Gothic blackletter across the upper field, flanked by two smaller vignettes of church bells in the upper corners; the denomination '100 Pfennig' appears in the lower left and right corners above a decorative foliate underprint.
