Reverse description The reverse displays the coat of arms of the State of Yucatán rendered in bold relief within the gold centre, presented as a heraldic shield featuring a leaping stag at centre, flanked by two castle towers, with a palm plant in the lower portion and a sun emblem in the upper right canton. Below the shield, a scroll cartouche bears the inscription YUCATAN. The date 2003 appears in the upper field above the shield in raised gold-toned numerals, while the Mexico City Mint mark Mo is positioned to the left of the central device. The silver ring carries the state name legend ESTADO DE YUCATAN arching across the upper periphery, a ring of raised beads as an inner border, and the denomination $100 prominently displayed at the base.
