Reverse description The silver centre features a faithful reproduction of the Villista 'peso de bolita,' a crudely struck 1 peso coin issued in 1913 during the Mexican Revolution under Francisco 'Pancho' Villa, with the denomination 1 PESO visible across its surface in a primitive typeface. A laurel wreath frames the base of the central disc. The aluminium bronze outer ring bears the legend HERENCIA NUMISMATICA DE MEXICO along the upper arc, with the mint mark Mo and date 2011 flanking the lower portion of the centre, and the face value $100 inscribed at the bottom of the ring.
