Reverse description The silver centre field displays the crowned heraldic coat of arms of the State of Tabasco, a quartered shield surmounted by a royal crown and featuring castles in the upper quarters, a central medallion with an episcopal figure, flanked by two orbs on staffs, with a female indigenous figure as a supporter on the dexter side and a rampant lion on the sinister side. The aluminium bronze outer ring carries the legend ESTADO DE TABASCO arcing along the upper periphery, with a row of raised dots forming an inner border around the ring. The mint mark Mo appears to the left of the shield and the date 2004 to the right, both within the silver centre, while the denomination $100 is inscribed in large raised letters at the base of the outer ring.
