Reverse description The silver centre displays the elaborate coat of arms of the State of Querétaro Arteaga in high relief: a quartered shield surmounted by the Mexican national eagle, flanked by two draped flags, with the lower portion adorned by crossed cannons, an olive branch, and a laurel wreath. The upper field of the aluminium bronze ring carries the legend ESTADO DE QUERETARO ARTEAGA, flanked by a row of decorative dots; the date 2004 appears to the right of the central device, the mintmark Mo to the lower left, and the denomination $100 is inscribed at the base of the ring.
