Reverse description The silver centre presents a detailed frontal view of the Antiguo Ayuntamiento (Old City Hall) of Mexico City, a colonial-era neoclassical building depicted across the full width of the field with a flag flying from its rooftop. The denomination $100 appears in the upper portion of the centre disc, with the mint mark Mo at the left and the date 2006 in the exergue. The aluminium bronze ring carries the legend DISTRITO FEDERAL along the upper arc and ANTIGUO AYUNTAMIENTO along the lower arc, referencing the Federal District and the historic building celebrated by this issue.
