Reverse description The silver centre field presents a three-quarter facing bust of Benito Juárez García, the nineteenth-century statesman and President of Mexico, depicted in formal attire with a bow tie, executed in bold relief. To the left of the effigy appears the Mo mintmark of the Mexican Mint, while the date 2006 is incused to the right. Below the portrait, a decorative monogram or mint ornament is struck in the field. The outer aluminium bronze ring bears the commemorative legend BICENTENARIO DEL NATALICIO DE BENITO JUAREZ GARCIA arching around the upper periphery, with the denomination $100 prominently displayed at the base.
