Reverse description The nickel-brass centre displays the Chilean national coat of arms at centre, featuring a quartered shield supported by a rearing huemul (deer) to the left and a condor to the right, with a three-feathered crest above and a scroll bearing the national motto below. The mint date appears beneath the arms, and the large denomination numeral 100 is struck prominently below the date. The outer ring is decorated with a continuous wreath of laurel branches in high relief, with the inscription PESOS along the lower arc of the ring.
