| 备注 |
Corrientes issued its own provincial currency during the 2000–2002 period as the national government's fiscal controls tightened and the provinces found themselves unable to meet payroll obligations in pesos. These quasi-monedas — emergency scrip instruments — circulated as de facto legal tender within provincial borders, accepted for local taxes and government transactions while the convertibility regime still nominally pegged the peso to the dollar.
The Corrientes series is among the less-studied of the provincial emissions. Most were redeemed after the 2002 devaluation and federal bailout agreements, making surviving circulated examples increasingly difficult to locate.
