| Obverse description | Red-brown intaglio print on a fine guilloche underprint. An oval vignette at right carries a bust portrait of General José de San Martín in military uniform, facing left. A large blank oval at left is reserved for the watermark, with the denomination numeral 100 and the legend CIEN PESOS centred below the issuer title; two facsimile signatures of bank officials appear along the lower margin above a micro-text security band. |
