Obverse description Intaglio-printed in dark brown and black on a multicolour guilloche underprint with orange and blue tints. At right, an oval vignette contains a three-quarter portrait of Francisco I. Madero, labelled 'MADERO' below; at centre, a large ornate numeral panel displays '100' flanked by two guilloche medallions each bearing the denomination, above the bold legend 'CIEN PESOS / A LA VISTA AL PORTADOR'. The bank title 'EL BANCO DE MEXICO S.A.' runs across the top, with the issue date, series letter, and two sets of serial numbers printed in red.
