Obverse description The central vignette reproduces a historical scene from the Constituent Congress, showing Venustiano Carranza and Luis Manuel Rojas, President of the Constituent Congress, at the solemn closing session of the assembly. The underprint carries guilloche patterning, with the denomination numeral '100' and the commemorative date span '1917–2017' integrated into the design. Inscriptions record the centennial of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, with the value 'Cien Pesos' stated at lower right.
