正面描述	Portrait vignette of José G. Artigas at left, with the face value of 100 Pesos at center framed by guilloche patterning, and the issuer's full title inscribed across the upper portion of the note. The composition follows a classical engraved style typical of early twentieth-century South American currency produced by Waterlow & Sons.
