Banco Central is an unusual issuer name for 1907 — most Latin American countries operating under that designation did so decades later, following mid-century banking reforms. The American Bank Note Company printed extensively for Latin American clients throughout this period, often supplying complete note designs from their New York facilities rather than working from locally commissioned artwork.
