备注

The República de Chile leaned heavily on the American Bank Note Company during this period, as did most South American governments who wanted intaglio-quality work they couldn't produce domestically. This series ran across a decade that included Chile's contentious paper money debates — the country had been on a forced paper standard since the 1878 crisis, and by 1906 the question of returning to metallic convertibility was still politically unresolved, which made high-quality, fraud-resistant printing a genuine priority rather than a cosmetic one.

Pick 26 is scarce in any grade above Fine. The ten-year print window produced multiple date varieties, and distinguishing them requires close attention to the handwritten or typeset date fields.
