Beschrijving voorzijde Central vignette presents a bust portrait of Francisco Bayeu (1734–1795), Spanish court painter, rendered after the celebrated likeness executed by Goya and held at the Museo del Prado, Madrid. The Coat of Arms of Spain appears in conjunction with the portrait within an intaglio-printed composition. Denomination numerals and issuer inscription are set against a fine guilloche underprint.

Beschrijving keerzijde The right half of the reverse carries a large intaglio vignette reproducing Goya's tapestry cartoon "El Cacharrero" (The Crockery Vendor), held at the Museo del Prado, Madrid, showing a lively street scene with figures grouped around a carriage. The left half is occupied by an elaborate guilloche rosette forming a circular watermark window, with the denomination numeral 100 set within an ornate cartouche below. Serial numbers are printed in red at all four corners.
