| Obverse description | Blue and lilac note with an intaglio vignette of a traditional Chinese junk under full sail at right, set against a pale underprint of an antique cartographic map of Macau and surrounding waters. The bank title BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO and its Chinese equivalent 大西洋銀行 appear across the upper portion, flanked by the denomination numerals 100 at each corner, with CEM PATACAS and 壹百圓 boldly printed in the centre. Two signature panels appear at lower centre above the date MACAU, 13 DE JULHO DE 1992, with guilloche borders framing the entire design. |
