Obverse description	The obverse presents a vignette of the Macau waterfront and harbour at right centre, with a ferry and modern city skyline rendered in fine intaglio. At left, the denomination 壹佰圓 (one hundred patacas) appears in large Chinese characters alongside the value numeral 100, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint in green and peach tones. The issuer name is inscribed in both Chinese (中國銀行) and Portuguese (BANCO DA CHINA), with the date MACAU, 8 DE DEZEMBRO DE 2003 and the signature of the Director-Geral da Sucursal de Macau printed in the lower portion.
