Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of a Chinese junk under full sail at centre-right, set against a pale multicolour guilloche underprint. The bank title BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO appears in an arc at the top, with the bilingual legend 大西洋銀行 MACAU to its right, while CEM PATACAS and the Chinese equivalent 壹百圓 are printed in bold at centre. Decree-law references appear at upper left alongside two facsimile signatures, and the serial number in dark blue is printed twice, at upper right and lower left.

The bank title BANCO NACIONAL ULTRAMARINO runs along the top, flanked by the denomination numeral 100 and the Chinese character 壹百 at each corner. A central rectangular panel bears the inscription CEM PATACAS in dark ink, and ornate rosette guilloche medallions occupy the left and right margins.
