Vorderseitenbeschreibung	The obverse is printed in shades of purple and brown on a cream ground, with geometric and interlaced ornamental guilloche patterns derived from traditional Mauritanian motifs framing the entire design. At upper left, the bank title in Arabic script runs across the top border, flanked by the numeral '100' at both corners, while a large intricate geometric vignette in yellow-green and purple occupies the right side. At lower left, two facsimile signatures appear above their Arabic titles, alongside the issue date, a golden foil security patch bearing the numeral '100', and the serial number printed twice in black.

Rückseitenbeschreibung	The reverse carries a central vignette of an ardin (traditional Mauritanian harp) alongside a cow before the ancient ksar architecture of the Chinguetti Mosque, rendered against a background of fine guilloche underprint in purple and ochre tones. The denomination '100' and the words 'CENT OUGUIYA' appear in the lower register, with the bank title in French across the top. A cautionary anti-counterfeiting legend in French runs in a horizontal band across the upper portion of the note.
