| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck wearing the traditional Bhutanese raven crown (Druk Gyalpo's ceremonial headdress), adorned with an ornate beaded band and surmounted by a raven finial. A small rectangular security feature appears to the right of the effigy in the field. The denomination 'Nu. 100' is inscribed below the bust, and the circular legend reading 'CORONATION OF HIS MAJESTY KING JIGME KHESAR NAMGYEL WANGCHUCK' with the date '2008' runs along the raised rim. |
