Obverse description Central field features the royal emblem of Bhutan, depicting two mythical dragons (Druk) facing each other in mirror symmetry, their bodies intertwined around a central double vajra (thunderbolt) symbol set against a lotus base, all rendered in high relief. The legend KINGDOM OF BHUTAN arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The date appears twice flanking the central emblem — in Latin numerals (2011) to the right and in Dzongkha script numerals to the left. An inscription in Dzongkha script appears along the lower rim.
