To the right of the portrait, the titles of his nine scholarly works are rendered in microprint across nine lines, legible only under magnification. Inscriptions in Hebrew at lower centre give the denomination 'One Hundred New Sheqalim' and 'Bank of Israel', with Ben-Zvi's name and Hebrew calendar dates flanking the design. |
