Obverse description Central design depicting the Ershawan Fort (二沙灣砲台), a historic coastal fortification in Keelung (基隆), rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field. The crenellated stone battlements and arched gateway are shown in detailed perspective, flanked by stylized foliage. The Chinese inscription 基隆 二沙灣砲台 appears in the upper field. In the lower exergue, the date 2012 is inscribed to the left, the fineness mark Ag999 to the right, and the denomination 100圓 prominently centered below.
