Reverse description Central device presents a detailed architectural rendering of the Tainan Confucius Temple (台南孔子廟), the oldest Confucian temple in Taiwan, depicted in three-quarter perspective with its characteristic multi-tiered traditional Chinese hip-and-gable roofing, colonnaded facade, and surrounding compound walls, with a mature tree visible to the right. The inscription 台南 / 孔子廟 appears in two lines in the upper field. In the lower exergue, the Gregorian year 2005 is inscribed to the left, the fineness designation Ag999 to the right, and the denomination 100圓 is prominently displayed at the bottom center.
